The "Näck" is a mythical creature from Swedish folklore that lives in lakes and streams and plays haunting melodies on a magical violin. It's enchanting music is said to lure people into the water to drown. However, if you offer the Näck Vodka or Snus, it might be persuaded to teach you the secrets of it's magical instrument. The Näck is most active on Midsommar and Christmas.
