Wanaria Wholeheart (b. 1994, Germany) is a contemporary mixed-media artist and VFX Compositor based in the Swedish countryside near Stockholm. Her work explores the relationship between humans and the natural world, addressing themes of inner transformation, belonging, and the tension between modern life and our inherent rhythms.

Alongside her independent art practice, Wanaria works as a VFX Compositing Artist at Important Looking Pirates in Stockholm, contributing to international productions such as "The Mandalorian", "Stranger Things", and "Avatar: The Last Airbender". This background informs her strong sense of composition, layering, and visual storytelling.
Wanaria studied Multimedia and Communication in Germany, with a semester abroad at San Diego State University focused on painting and life drawing. In 2016, she received second place in the Jugendförderpreis für Bildende Kunst. In 2023, she founded WholeheART AB, dedicating her practice to creating artworks that invite reflection, grounding, and emotional connection.

Working primarily in mixed media, Wanaria combines acrylics, collage, charcoal, pastels, spray paint, gold leaf, and oil paint in a layered, intuitive process. Her paintings are built through both spontaneity and intention, allowing traces of earlier marks to remain visible as a reflection of memory and transformation.

Her work is created as an invitation—to slow down, reconnect with nature, and experience art not only visually, but as a quiet, lasting presence within everyday life.
