This painting came to me in a dream. Usually my dreams feel fragmented or symbolic, but this one unfolded almost like a fairytale right in front of me. I wasn’t really part of it either. I felt more like a quiet presence just watching the story happen.
When I woke up, I couldn’t stop thinking about it. There was something about it that deeply moved me, even though I still struggle to fully explain why. Some dreams feel bigger than us somehow. Like they arrive carrying a message from a place we can’t entirely reach during waking life.
I knew almost immediately that I wanted to turn it into a painting. And without planning it, it became the final piece for my "A Place to Rise" series.
I thought about sharing the full story of the dream here, but in the end it felt too personal and too special to place into a product description.
So instead, I wrote the entire dream and meaning on the back of the painting itself.
I like the idea that one day somebody might stand in front of this piece and immediately feel connected to it without fully understanding why. Maybe visually. Maybe emotionally. Maybe spiritually. And then later discover the story hidden behind it and find something inside it that speaks directly to their own life, questions or experiences.
