This painting came from a kind of exhaustion that many of us carry right now.
Sometimes I look at the way we live and it honestly feels a bit absurd. Everything moves so fast all the time. We are constantly reachable, constantly consuming, constantly expected to keep going even when our bodies and minds are clearly asking for quiet.
I think a lot of people secretly miss depth.
Real conversations. Silence. Nature. Slowness. Meaningful things.
Just feeling connected to themselves again.
While painting this piece, I kept thinking about the feeling of wanting to disappear into the forest for a while. Not to escape life completely, but to return to something more honest and sacred. Something that reminds us that we are still human underneath all the stress and noise.
I wanted this painting to feel soft, calm and alive in a way the modern world often doesn’t.
